Who is Troy Miller?
Troy Miller became a college funding consultant not by accident, but by design.
As a financial consultant, Troy was talking to many couples who were delaying or foregoing retirement - just so their children could get a good education.
Again and again, Troy heard his clients voice the same financial concern ...
"There's no way I can retire and put my kids through college. No way. At least not the school of their choice."
Troy decided he would find a way. He began to integrate college funding strategies with retirement planning.
Today, he helps families plan for college without giving up on retirement. He studied at the College of Denver to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
A native Californian, Troy lived his whole life in northern California before he relocated to Bozeman Montana in 2012. He and his family have enjoyed summer vacations at Hebgen Lake for 30 years.
Locally, Troy is immensely involved in education. With two children, both college graduates, he knows college planning on a personal level. Troy is an active member of Ducks Unlimited and Trinity Church. He even lends his talents and makes his voice available to various charities. While living in El Dorado County, he was a member of the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club, a co-founder of Faith Church in Cameron Park, and a founding member of the Sacramento chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Research.
